D.D. Williamson: Appealing 'Spirit' Caramel

D.D. Williamson Ingredients (Shanghai) Ltd., Asia’s largest caramel color manufacturer, has expanded its liquid product line to include DDW # 535 for the Asian market.
DDW # 535 is the first Class I caramel to be produced by the Shanghai operation. It is ingredient label-friendly for processed food and beverage products exported to Japan, Australia, and Europe.
It is also known as a “spirit” caramel. Its stability in 70 percent alcohol enhances the visual appeal of flavours and distilled alcoholic beverages.
DDW # 535 also provides an appealing reddish-brown (amber) tone in solution.
