D.D. Williamson Completes a National Top 20 Campaign
Company honored for highest per capita contribution in region
LOUISVILLE, KY, USA (April 25, 2007) - Metro United Way is pleased to announce that local manufacturer D.D. Williamson & Co., Inc. reached the highest per capita giving of the largest, local United Ways, which raise $25 million or more per year, in the Louisville area and would rank among the Top 20 companies in the entire United States.
D.D. Williamson ranked highest in The Terrific 25, which honors the outstanding per capita contributions made by businesses in the Louisville area during the organization’s annual campaign. In 2006, 100% of D.D. Williamson’s associates made a contribution to Metro United Way, with an average contribution of $1,738.
“ Our associates are committed to improving lives in the communities where they live and work. Our contributions to the Metro United Way allow us to accomplish this goal,” said Ted Nixon, CEO and Chairman. “I am very proud of the fact that every associate at D.D. Williamson participates in the annual United Way campaign,” added Nixon.

D.D. Williamson employs 66 associates in the Louisville area. Associates from D.D. Williamson have been involved with the Metro Untied Way campaign since 1950.
