D.D. WILLIAMSON WINS SILVER AWARD IN FOOD PROCESSING’S ANNUAL READERS’ CHOICE AWARD

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY, USA -- (February 7, 2007) -- D.D. Williamson ties for Silver as the supplier of choice in the Colorings category of Food Processing’s fifth annual Readers’ Choice Award.

Food Processing’s fifth annual Readers’ Choice Awards survey was taken in late November and December. The web-based e-mail survey was sent to subscribers of Food Processing. It’s actually two surveys: one sent to subscribers who indicate they have purchasing authority in ingredients and the other to those who specify equipment and services. The survey is an unaided recall survey, meaning that no company names are suggested; instead, readers simply fill in the blanks. A total of 416 responses were received, evenly divided between equipment and ingredients. Nearly all categories received more than 100 votes, and some had 180-185 votes.
