D.D. Williamson’s POWDERED CARAMEL COLOR NO. 608 is a free-flowing product that will not lump or cake under normal storage conditions. While all caramels are “brown”, No. 608 is of particular value for those food and beverage products where reddish brown shades are desirable.

- Absorbance of 0.1% w/v solution @ 610 NM through a 1cm square cell on Beckman DBG Spectrophotometer x 1000.
- Maximum Allowed: 2,550 PPM as listed in the monograph for caramel color found in the Food Chemicals Codex.
- Shelflife is based on storing the product sealed, in ambient storage conditions. Ambient conditions are 75 degress F (24 Degrees C) with a relative humidity of 60%.
Packed in 50 lb. and 25 kg net polyethylene-lined cardboard cartons.
